Mailbox Management for the
Panasonic KX-TVS Series
Panasonic KX-TVS Series
For mailbox management enter your
mail box by dialing an extension
connected to your Voice Processing
System (usually 165). Press 5 for
"Mailbox Management" and you will get
the following choices:
1. Press 1 to record a personal
greeting
2. Press 2 to assign a password
3. Press 3 to record you name
(voice recording)
4. Press 4 to set the group
distribution list
5. Press 5 to record caller name
6. Press 6 for remote call foward

To enter name for dial by name directory
This must be done in "Enter or Edit Mailboxes"
in System Manager's mailbox #999. To enter

answer dial #6 *999 and enter system
password when prompted. Press 6 for other
features; press 1 for mailbox setup; press 1 to
assign or edit; enter the mailbox number you
wish to change; press 2 to accept; press 2 until
you hear the prompt for changing letters; press
1 to change it; enter new letters on your
keypad; press 2 to accept the new letters;
press *** to exit the system.

connected to the Voice Processing System (usually 165). Upon answer dial
#6 *998 and enter password when prompted. Press 5 for "modify message";
To change "Company Greeting"
press 1; enter the greeting number you wish to change. (The system will
play the greeting to be sure it is the one you want to change.) Press 1 to
record a new greeting. Record greeting and don't forget to press 2 to
accept it.
To change "Custom Service Menu"
press 4; enter the custom service menu you wish to change (the system will
play the menu to be sure it is the one you want to change); press 1 to
change the recording; record new menu and don't forget to press 2 to
accept it.
